One of the largest diffuse nebulae. Within its boundaries are several open clusters. The Keyhole Nebula is visible near the center. Eta Carinae is the bright star just left of center. Image shows the nebuals's glowing filaments of interstellar gas and obscuring dust clouds. Colors enhanced with Photoshop.
